Morning Hike - Blackwell’s Leaving
After breakfast, the Blackwell’s joined us for a morning walk at the TouVelle State Park just north of Medford. We also walked some of the trails in the adjacent Denman Wildlife Area. Some of the trails were a little narrow and had to dodge blackberry vines and poison oak but we had a nice walk. Greg and I picked up six caches and the girls snapped lots of pictures. We got to see an Osprey family up close. Two adults and a nearly grown offspring.
Back to camp for some lunch then Blackwells packed up and headed back to home. Sure was enjoyable camping with them - look forward to more this summer.
Pat and I took our laptops into Grants Pass and stopped at a Dutch Bros. with wifi so we could get online and check emails etc. Did a little grocery shopping then went back to camp.

Woodpecker has worked this big pine tree over pretty good - it places oak acorns in these holes!!
