A bit of a family reunion today.
Mom and Dad came down from Dufur for the day to meet up with us, Jenny & Kyla AND Sarah, Amber & Christina were over visiting from the coast as well!
We went out to Tumalo State Park for a picnic. Amber and Kyla had fun playing in the water. Cooked hotdogs and had a good time visiting.

Checked out the Lava River Cave this morning. Neat place - very long lava tube! We walked one mile in then turned around at a point that would have required us getting down on hands and knees to continue! Not today!
Later in the day we did some shopping in Bend then picked up Kyla so she could come out and camp with us for a night. After some dinner we all took a walk around the park hunting a geocache.

We took in the famed High Desert Museum today. Quite an impressive place! Lots of wildlife exhibits.
Also visited Paulina Peak and Pauline Creek Falls later in the day and watched a storm brewing over the Cascades.
