No room in the Inn
Well, the campground was full and all reserved up, so we had to pack up and go home today. The weather along the coast going home was fabulous! Warm for a change.
After arriving home we decided to go ahead and clean the vehicles in the driveway. Elliot helped out and did a great job. Then it was time for the soaking! Elliot put on his swimming trunks and was ready to run through the sprinklers. He sure enjoyed that on a warm afternoon!

Another rainy night in Newport
Rained hard last night - everything is very wet this morning. But we’re nice and dry in the trailer. While Pat and Elliot slept I ran out and found a couple of nearby caches during a break in the rain.
We decided to take another trip down to the public library in Newport and do some internet stuff. Elliot read many books and was good while we did our banking and whatnot. I also was able to upload several photos to Flickr. We had gone to the library the day before and the wifi was great! No more looking for good wifi while out of town, we look first at the public libraries!
In the afternoon, we took Elliot to see the movie, “Ratatouille”. It was a cute movie and the children in the audience sure enjoyed it - laughter was everywhere in the theater.
After the movie we went to Agate Beach State Park and let Elliot run on the sand. The weather was starting to clear and it was feeling very warm. We only stayed for awhile before going back to camp and having a yummy bbq. After dinner, Elliot made some new friends and played with two kids camping next to us. We ended the evening roasting marshmellows and making smores. A very good day indeed.

South Beach State Park

Rained during the night as was drizzling when we got up. Undaunted, we ate breakfast and went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Checked out an antique shop afterwards. Found the local library and used it to get online to check email and update the blog. Elliot read several books. We ate a mid-afternoon dinner at famous Mo’s Chowder house. Elliot and I hunted a few caches in town.
After getting back to camp, we all head for a walk to the beach since the weather was clearing. Wow, the mosquito’s are thick here!! Found one cache on the way.
