New Job

Sunday my car wouldn’t start, so I had to have my car towed to a shop.  I was very grateful that the mechanic was able to work on my car right away because tomorrow I start my new job. I begin my job as the Web System Administrator in the IT department at our local community college.  I’m really excited about the new position and look forward to getting started.

I’ll still continue to run PD Designs, but will not take on new clients.  I’ll probably just work on some ministry sites and continue to take care of current clients.  I’ll also have time to ‘play’ with fun websites I’ve been meaning to do for a long time.  One thing I want to do is redesign my business site, our personal blog and finish a directory website I started some time ago.

Heading Down I5

Mike and I are leaving today towards California to visit my dad and step mom.  Naomi and Elliot are flying there tomorrow.  We are looking forward to seeing Dad and Sheila.  It’s been three years since we’ve been down there.  We are taking the trailer and plan on stopping somewhere in Redding tonight.  Hopefully, we’ll be able to catch up with some old friends that live there in Redding.

Family Website 2.0

I decided I’d better get busy and finally get started on our family blog.  The first website I did for our family has not been updated in over 3 years! I think I did it 5 years ago.  So much has changed in the way of web design, my skill level etc.

Mike & I have so much to share and talk about with our family and friends that we hope this will be a fun place that everyone can participate in.
