3rd Time’s A Charm

moon shaped like a heartOne more weekend at Tugman State Park as we wind down our first season of RV’ing in the T@B.  This is a great place to stay when we don’t want to travel too far from home - all the amenities we want for a great price and usually warmer and sunnier than Coos Bay.  Camping with us was a couple from church, Tim and Gina Ehlin.  We spent a lot of time walking around the lake and campground.  I introduced them to geocaching.  We decided to throw together a geocache ourselves and put it out on a newer section of trail along the lake edge. Had BBQ hamburgers for dinner, walked out to place the geocache then enjoyed a great evening around the campfire with these friends.  It’s getting cold at night and could have used a small electric space heater!  We tried using the propane heater but it kept setting off the smoke detector because it was new and hadn’t been used before.  This makes our 10th outing in the T@B since spring!  We’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
