Starting Southern Oregon Vacation
Today Pat and I headed out on a 10-day vacation in the Grants Pass/Medford area. This was day one of six staying in Valley of the Rogue (VOTR) State Park. I had six caches found by the time we pulled into camp and setup including a virtual at Seven Feathers Casino and some micros in Grants Pass where we stopped to do some last minute grocery shopping. After camp set up we drove to nearby Rogue River (the town) to look around. I had five more caches found by the time we returned.
Tomorrow Pat goes to the little town of Ruch (roosh) to attend a Ladies Retreat with other women from our church at Applegate Christian Fellowship. The Blackwells will join us tomorrow here at VOTR in the space next to us and stay through the weekend. While Pat and Anita are at their retreat, Greg and I will join Chuck Knight and Bob Fanelli on Lower Table Rock for a half day of caching and good fellowship among brothers.
Oh, forgot to mention - I pulled a real good one this trip......... I left home and forgot to throw in my geocaching backpack full of things like charging cords for phone, GPSr and PDA! At least it wasn’t the GPSr this time!
