Lincoln City Caching
Took advantage of the nice weather forecast for the weekend and camped at South Beach State Park near Newport. I did some caching while Pat shopped at the outlet mall in Lincoln City.
Picked up seven in Lincoln City, two in Newport and two more down the coast as we headed home. One in particular was a satisfying find - Time Out. This was a puzzle cache that first came out well over a year ago and I had it solved quickly but just needed to wait for the next trip up the coast. Well, over the course of this past year, I’ve had three opportunities to find it and was thwarted on all three. First time the tide was too high, second time it was missing and the third time was high tide again. Finally today everything came together for a successful find!
