Today I completed laying out a 17-cache series in the Elliott State Forest running from Marlow Creek over to Ash Valley. It will be a mix of containers but all standard traditional style hides. Hope folks gain a new appreciation for a forest hard at work producing income for Oregon’s school system.
Took a slug in the shoulder from Bad Duck at geo-coffee this morning because I “forgot” to log my FTF’s on those new caches up Daniels Creek prior to him hunting them the day after me! Ouch!
What? What’d I do?
I think I’m going to regret it! I smell payback coming…...................
Picked up 25 or so caches while in the Portland area this weekend including a fun one in Washington Park.
Friday I hunted four caches in the Woods Memorial Natural Area still under development. A bit muddy but had the place to myself - nice park.
Saturday, soggy as it was, I spent in the area of Portland Meadows, Portland International Speedway, Multnomah County Fairgrounds and Marine Drive.
Sunday morning I picked up a few close to the north Wilsonville RV park where we were staying before heading home. Also picked up a couple in Eugene on our way.
