Days of the Year Challenge Update

These first three weeks of November I’ve been focused on making sure I find a cache on days of the calendar that I’ve never found one before - this is, of course, the Days of the Year Challenge cache described in an earlier blog post.

November 4 -  FTF on Dog Day Afternoon

November 6 -  Two caches today. First was the Concretions and Contortions earthcache during very high surf conditions with Bad Duck (Are those tennis shoes dry yet Darren?). Later after dark, took my daughter and her husband (new cachers - davikins)
out to Overpowering the Darkness night cache. They had a blast.

November 12 -  A fun afternoon in the back parts of Coos County finding three caches including Wagons Ho! located at a very nice waterfall. Need to bring Pat back out here to photograph the falls in spring.

November 17 - Ishie’s View : Thankfully close by since I had to wait until after work when it’s starting to get dark early.

November 18 -  FTF on a new cache (Elliott Forest Gump) place on the Elliott State Forest where I work. Didn’t need this day on the calendar but couldn’t resist the FTF temptation you know.

November 21 -  Another walk in the dunes, this time accompanied or should I say “accomplained” by Bad Duck. Don’t get me wrong, Darren doesn’t mind some hiking in the dunes but when that hiking is along a sand road with fresh vehicle tracks…...well, you hear “Why am I doing this on foot?” a few times. The cache was Milk Bones.

With these cache finds I have 92% of the days completed.

Why are we walking to this cache?
