Day Trip to Bend
Coos Bay to Bend and back….makes for a long day. Thankfully, geocaching came to the rescue and provided several opportunities to slow down and enjoy the beautiful McKenzie River corridor.
First cache of the day was Would You Like To Adopt Me? shortly after daybreak just as I was leaving Springfield and heading upriver. Last of the seven along the river corridor was Forest Dragon where I was treated to a great close-up view of the swollen river and some rafter floating by. Picked up another four caches by the time I got to Sisters - love that central Oregon landscape!
