Hike to Rainie Falls

Our adventure for the day was a 4-mile roundtrip hike along the Rogue River starting at the Graves Creek bridge and put-in.  It was a warm day and thankfully we were on the south side of the river canyon so had some shade.  We watched several groups of rafter and kayakers coming down the river.  Found two caches as well.

The trail is fairly level but the surface is often uneven and rocky.  Good hike, good scenery.

After the hike we stopped for dinner at the Galice Resort.  They have a very nice outside dining deck overlooking the river.
