Finding My First Cache!
After starting to use a GPS receiver in my forestry work I got interested in geocaching again. Created an account on geocaching.com and “popop” was born! The name comes from what my grandson calls me. Today after work I hunted and found my first geocache in town on my way home - Blossom Gulch Nature Trail #2. It was a micro hidden at the base of a wooden bench along a nature trail behind Blossom Gulch Elementary School. This is all I had time for today but I was hooked.
