Again, no new geocaches to find but Melia and I did manage to get our signatures on THIS ONE as we drove along the Smith River.
After a morning at Sweet Creek Falls, we decided to run up the coast and check out this thing called Thor’s Well at Cape Perpetua.
There is an Earth Cache to find at this location but I didn’t feel like doing it - saved it for another day.
One of Patricia’s favorite places to photograph flowing water is Sweet Creek Falls near Mapleton, OR. Today’s excursion was on a drizzly, cloudy day - conditions that photographers actually prefer for this purpose.
No geocaches for me this trip since I already had found everything in the area…..or had I really? It seems a Florence geocacher Kenny Henson would be placing several new caches only two days after this day trip! Oh well…just another excuse to come back to this beautiful place.
