Placing A New Cache On Bluebill Lake Trail
Dragged my son-in-law Andrew out for a hike around Bluebill Lake. I needed to replace a leaky cache container for one of my caches along the trail. Brought along an additional cache in case I found another place to hide a new one…..Indeed I did!
Maintenance Done
New Cache

Okay, I didn’t really have to DRAG Andrew out….he enjoyed getting out….right, Andrew?

Cape Mountain Caching Tour
Darren Drops and I spent this afternoon on a portion of the Coast Horse Trails on Cape Mountain north of Florence, OR. There was a string of 18 caches placed in association with this CITO Event from August.
Posted our intentions on Facebook resulting in Florence geocacher kennyart joining us for the hike and hunt…..even though he had a hand in their placement. We enjoyed having him along. In fact, I was distracted from the geocache hunt several times by our conversation. Darren would yank us back into order with a quick “Hey, where are you fella’s going? Cache is back here!”.
The weather was better than the last time Darren and I hiked this portion of the trail….....check out this old blog post.
It was dark as we returned to the Bay Area so decided to stop and do the Snipe Hunt night cache at Riley Ranch.
