Progress Made - Counting Counties in Oregon
Here’s a map showing the counties in which I have found caches that qualify in the Counting Counties in Oregon Cache Challenge.

Was in Salem for a couple of days and got a little caching in. Wow, I though Coos Bay was the land of micro’s! Never have I seen so many “light pole” caches per square mile! It was driving me crazy so I got out of town a ways to the Willamette Mission State Park to walk some nice paths and do some caching of course. Many of these were micros too - but at least I had nicer scenery.
My destination for today’s day trip was the 15 cache series between Glendale and Azalea. This was a challenging series. Coordinates were frequently off and the clues and hints were hard to follow until AFTER I found the cache! I was not able to find 3 of the 15 caches in this series. Not sure I’ll ever come back to get them either - maybe if I happen to be camping in the vicinity. Before getting started on this series however, I picked up a new one - Cache Across America, Oregon. After making the series run I picked up a few more in Canyonville and Myrtle Creek. Left home at 5am and got back at 5pm!
Went over 700 on this trip.
