Exploring Lincoln County Coastline
Back at our trailer in Lincoln City. Missing Elliot…needed cheering up…so we spent the day doing two of our favorite things - geocaching and taking pictures! We wandered south along 101 stopping to hunt some geocaches, which brought us to some neat places to view and take pictures. A few of the stops were waysides at Gleneden Beach, Boiler Bay and the town of Depot Bay. Cape Foulweather was the turning around point.
Hunting geocaches always seems to take us little out-of-the-way places off the beaten path and today was no different. Discovered a neat place called Fishing Rock just north of Boiler Bay. Very rough basalt rock outcrop here producing good wave action. Pat took quite a few pics here.

Getting Elliot to Portland
Drove Elliot to Portland in order to meet up with his Dad for their return trip to NYC. Also got to visit with Nicole, Sinclair, Kim and Andrew. In fact, Elliot is staying the night with Kim and Andrew.
Great visiting with everyone but sad to see Elliot go - New York is so far away! I see a flight to the east coast in the near future! Woohoo - new territory to geocache!

End of Spring Break
Our week with Elliot is drawing to a close. We decided to take the trailer up to Lincoln City and camp before getting him back to Portland to catch his flight home. After setting up in Devil’s Lake State Park we hunted a few geocaches close by then had dinner at Kyllo’s.
